My nickname is Satty. I am a Japanese woman who is from Kanazawa-city, Ishikawa-prefecture. I have traveled around the world and visited 53 countries so far. After I come back the long journey, I found out my hometown is still unpopular for foreigners and have many hidden jams and exciting events. This blog will introduce you these interesting spots in further detail… and also I believe this blog will help people who live in Ishikawa-Prefecture too.
Where is Ishikawa?
Ishikawa prefecture is on the west coast (the Sea of Japan coast) in Hokuriku area. The northern part of the prefecture consists of the narrow Noto Peninsula, while the southern part is wider and consists mostly of mountains with the prefecture’s chief city, Kanazawa, located in the coastal plain.

Why Ishikawa 19?
The prefecture has 19 municipality including some islands and the population is 1,151,337 （ 2016 ）. Hope you’ll get to know about whole of my prefecture from this blog as this prefecture has full of beautiful scenic in each seasons in different area.. for instance, there are the holy mountain called “Hakusan” runs just between “Shirakawago” in Gifu prefecture and very clear water and sea-animals in “Noto peninsula” and the most popular Japanese garden and peaceful river runs in “Kanazawa-city”.
