Humidity matters and tips for humid run
Please remember, Kanazawa city is quite humid city in all year. You should drink A LOT of water/sports drink and take a good nutrition the day before. As George Chiampas, D.O., the medical director of the Chicago Marathon said
Of all the climate measurements we take to assess heat risk for our runners, humidity is the biggest factor…
Humidity makes warm summer runs even more taxing because the higher the moisture content of the air, the hotter it feels.
So again,…
Don’t limit your hydration to water. Go for soda and other fluids
I hope you have the perfect weather this coming Kanazawa marathon and all runners enjoy the day !
